This monolithic sculpture has been carved from a particularly heterogeneous block of stone, leading collectors to suspect, at best, the restoration of missing pieces or, at worst, an assembly of fragments of different statues.

The scan showed that the surface irregularities were part of an erratic but natural geological structure. There were no breaks or restored fragments.
