The timing depends on the clinical activity in the hospitals whose CT scanners we use, as patients have priority to the machines. 

Depending on local agreements, we scan either when clinical work is finished for the day or at night or in the weekends.

Should a clinical emergency occur, we just remove the piece from the CT scanner table and start again a few minutes later when the machine becomes available again.
